What is a Medicine Woman?

We women have been living our medicine for thousands of years from the early days of our Gatherer Grandmothers in the Paleolithic Era, who first established the female solidarity, through to when horticulture/agriculture was discovered by the female ancestors of these same women. After thousands of years when the knowledge gleamed from the gathering became the ‘medicine’ our ancestor sisters became the healers in every Klan, Tribe, Village, Hamlet, and community across our world. These women have been given different names to describe their inherent earth connection which brought forth the medicine for healing, empowerment, well-being and consciousness. One of those names or titles is Medicine Woman. Ahey!
